Mexican Rice (Medium spice)

Add 2.5 cups of liquid

water, broth, tomato

Ingredients:

Jasmine Rice,onion,chicken bouillon, 6 pepper ground pepper,garlic powder,black pepper,salt, cumin

Allergens: None

 

To cook jasmine rice on the stovetop, bring the rice and water to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed. After simmering, remove from heat and let the rice rest for 10 minutes, covered, before fluffing with a fork.

Detailed Steps:

Add water: Place the  rice in a pot or saucepan with the appropriate amount of water

Bring to a boil: Bring the water to a boil over high heat.

Simmer: Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed.

Rest: Remove the pot from the heat and let it rest, covered, for 10 minutes.

Fluff: After resting, fluff the rice with a fork to separate the grains.
