Spanish Rice

Add 2.5 cups of liquid

1 can of tomato paste 6 oz

water, broth, tomatoes with juice

Ingredients:

Jasmine Rice,onion, chili powder,pepper,cumin,garlic,

chicken bouillon.

Allergens: None

 

To cook jasmine rice on the stovetop, bring the rice and water to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed. After simmering, remove from heat and let the rice rest for 10 minutes, covered, before fluffing with a fork.

Add water: Place the rice in a pot or saucepan with the appropriate amount of water (usually a 1:1.5 ratio of rice to water).

Bring to a boil: Bring the water to a boil over high heat.

Simmer: Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed.

Rest: Remove the pot from the heat and let it rest, covered, for 10 minutes.

Fluff: After resting, fluff the rice with a fork to separate the grains.
